Life Drawing with Actors

Thought I would post some life drawings I did in a class with actors. Life drawing was not always fun for me back in college, but once I had the oportunity to work with actors in costumes or models with real personality, I enjoyed it so much more. Emotion, life!.. but I guess that is why I went into animation in the first place! :)

Great stuff here! The kitty and the pea are both really cute, and colored very nicely. And very nice figure drawings too. They've got a lot of vitality and expression to them. and thanks for dropping by the blog. I'm not flattening my images beforehand, so I'm not sure why the jpegs are always so much duller, but thanks for taking a guess.

by the way, your profile page from the comment you left isn't linking to your blog. I had to find the link on darryl's blog to get to yours. Thought you might want to know, in case you'd like more visitors.

Thanks all! :)
Sorry to say these were from the "previous place of employment".... so I haven't gotten the chance to do that particular thing since. Now, I just try to draw my 3yr old nieces... but it hard to draw while running in circles.

Oh and they are, from what I remember, about 2 minute poses.

Real nice life drawing! Keep them coming even if you have to lock the actors in a room lol :)

Great stuff here. I love this type of class, very Walt Stanchfield. I have a very similar type of class on Thrusdays. . . . I think I would die if this was not available. Thanks for posting your stuff.
